Ducks are appearing such as six Blue-winged Teal and five Green-winged Teal. Lots of waders were about such as fifteen Great Egrets, a few Snowy Egrets and Glossy Ibis. Shorebirds were fewer in numbers but we still found both Semipalmated Plover and Sandpiper, Killdeer, both Yellowlegs, Least and Stilt Sandpiper, and 1 Short-billed Dowitcher. Late in the walk we heard a Great Horned Owl and saw 1 Common Nighthawk. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Roger & Kathy Horn, Carrie Bell, and Jesse Amesbury.
