A Prairie Warbler vied for the group's attention this morning on the Cox Hall Creek WMA walk, as we searched - successfully - for the nicely plumaged Lark Sparrow that had been found there a couple days ago. Other notable sightings included first-year bluebirds looking very thrush-like, many first-year Chipping Sparrows and a smattering of warblers that included Ovenbird, Nashville, Black- and-White, Blackpoll and American Redstart. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Cindy & Shaun Bamford, Janet Crawford, Karl Lukens, Mike Hannisien, Carrie Bell, and Deb Payson.
