Our first three hour tour was quite a smash, as we saw wonderful numbers of super birds. Eight Tricolored Herons were seen, in various plumages, and both Black-crowned and Yellow-crowned Night-Herons were noted. Also, of interest, was our Little Blue Heron that was in full adult plumage, excepting the head, which was pure white. This individual has been found in the same exact spot over the last three years.
