Higbee Beach Birding - Friday, September 6th, 2013

The highlight of today's walk was a close view of a perched Common Nighthawk - a first for many present. To add to the experience, warblers were mobbing the nighthawk including Blue-winged, Golden-winged, and Northern Parula making it difficult to decide what bird to focus on. We also had good looks at multiple Baltimore Orioles and Blu-gray Gnatcatchers. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Chris Marks, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, Deb Payson, Emily Martin, and Jeremy Clothier.
