Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, August 31st, 2013

A somewhat slow birding day, but we still managed to see some good raptors including Cooper's and Red-tailed Hawks, American Kestrel, and Peregrine Falcon. A nice view was two Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, two Field Sparrows and a Yellow Warbler perched in the same scope view. We also had American Redstart, Northern Waterthrush, Ovenbird, and Orchard Oriole. A change of pace was provided by a fly-over B17 Flying Fortress! Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, Warren Cairo, Catherine Busch, and Jesse Amesbury.
