Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, September 28th, 2013

Seemed like the day of American Kestrel and Blue Jay, with both overhead or perched most of the time. Merlins were also present with Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks, and one adult Bald Eagle. Warblers were scarce with a few Common Yellowthroats, a couple of American Redstarts, and Yellow-rumped Warblers. We did have a nice close look at a vocal Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, Deb Payson, and Patty Rourke.
