A pleasant day for a walk with good looks at most of the species. Good looks at a pair of Cooper's Hawks perched on a fence and, thanks to a Snapping Turtle for delaying us, we were treated to a fantastic view of a Merlin's acrobatic flight in pursuit of a Least Sandpiper. The Merlin won. Leaders: Warren Cairo, Patty Rourke, and Cindy Bamford.
