Highlights include: several species of ducks such as Mallards, American Wigeon, and both Blue- and Green-winged Teal; Pied-billed Grebes; Belted Kingfisher; Osprey; Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks; Stilt and Solitary Sandpipers; and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.
