Twilight Watch at the Meadows - Wednesday, October 24th, 2012

The Twilight Watch at the Meadows had good looks at a Lesser Black-backed Gull, close Northern Gannets, lots of migrating Great Blue Herons, and a huge flock of Black Skimmers yipping and feeding right off the beach. We ended with sightings of Virginia Rail and Sora when it was almost too dark to see. Leaders: Chuck Slugg and Bill Smythe.
