Sunset Birding at the Meadows - Friday, October 5th, 2012

A nice variety of ducks were seen including Pintail, N. Shoveler, and both Teal. A number of Merlin passed overhead during the evening. Highlights were at sunset when we found at least 5 Sora, and 1 Common Gallinule, and an American Bittern. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Kathy & Roger Horn, and Carrie Bell.
