Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012

In spite of the fog there were some good birds to be found. Ducks are getting more numerous including Northern Shovelers, both Teal, and American Wigeon, also lots of Pied-billed Grebes. Overhead were many Northern Flickers, as well as Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks. Highlights were a flock of Pine Siskins/American Goldfinch and a perched Lark Sparrow in the dead tree near the 1st bridge. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Patty Rourke, and Chris Marks.
