The Hawks, Trails, and Beach Walk enjoyed the large variety of waterfowl on Bunker and Lighthouse Ponds. Ducks are beginning to come into breeding plumage such as Mallards, Green- and Blue-winged Teal, Northern Pintails, American Wigeon, Gadwall, and Ring-necked Ducks. We also saw Pied-billed Grebes and Ruddy Ducks. Raptors included Northern Harriers, Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks, Peregrine Falcons, and an American Bald Eagle. Leaders: Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Cindy Bamford, and Lynne Breslow.
