Hawks, Trails, and Beach Walk - Saturday, October 13th, 2012

Raptors were scarce for the Hawks, Trails, and Beach Walk today but we had great looks at Red-breasted Nuthatches, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, and both Golden- and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. There was a nice variety of ducks including some Green-winged Teal that were almost in full breeding plumage. Two Wood Ducks flew over toward Bunker Pond. Leaders: Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Cindy Bamford, Lynne Breslow, and Carrie Bell.
