Sunset Birding at the Meadows - Friday, October 12th, 2012

Great night for Merlin, they were all over the sky, probably chasing the many, many Yellow-rumped Warblers. Ducks were scarce but the walk ended with at least 1 Sora, a Common Gallinule, and a Virginia Rail seen and heard by a few. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, Kathy & Roger Horn.
