The Cox Hall Creek WMA Blue Jays 'ganged up' on a migrating Merlin as it tried to perch on one snag after another, chasing and being chased in turn. Brown Thrashers 'kissed' loudly from the thickets before perching to be scoped. Warbler numbers were low with only American Redstart, Black-and-white and Common Yellowthroat seen. Woodpeckers included Hairy, Downy, Red-bellied and many Northern Flickers. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Cindy & Shaun Bamford, Janet Crawford, Steve Weis & Jesse Amesbury.
