Cox Hall Creek WMA - Sunday, October 6th, 2013

Pine, Black-and-white and Yellow-rumped Warblers, along with flocks of Eastern Bluebirds and Cedar Waxwings, were being enjoyed in the bright morning light at Cox Hall Creek WMA until they all scattered when a Merlin flew in and perched atop 'their' tree. Vireos included Red-eyed, White-eyed and Blue-headed. Both Kinglets (Ruby and Golden-crowned) and a single male Black-throated Blue Warbler were also seen. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Janet Crawford, Cindy & Shaun Bamford, Deb Payson, and Carrie Bell.
