Higbee Beach Birding - Friday, October 11th, 2013

Another rainy day, but with a small group, we were able to creep through wooded paths searching for birds taking shelter from the winds. Warblers included Black-and-white, Common Yellowthroat, Blackpoll, Northern Parula, and one late Ovenbird. Along the edges, Swamp Sparrow were everywhere we looked, frequently popping up to inspect us at close range. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Catherine Busch, and Chris Marks.
