Photo Walks with Mike Hannisian - Saturday, October 19th, 2013

Our last Saturday Photo Walk was greeted with a nice variety of subjects. As is to be expected at this time of year, our resident Mute Swans have been joined by migrant waterfowl such as American Wigeon and Northern Shoveler. Other migrants included Golden-crowned Kinglet, Northern Flicker, Savannah Sparrow, and Yellow-rumped Warbler. And, because of the mild weather so far this season, our Seaside Goldenrod has remained in flower. All in all, it was another fine day afield.  Although this was the last Saturday Photo Walk, this coming weekend is the NJAS's 67th annual Autumn Weekend during which I will be leading both indoor and outdoor photo workshops and programs.
