CMBO's Birding by Boat trip had over twenty intrepid birders face some strong winds with great results. Down the Cape May Canal, we had our own private hawkwatch, as myriad accipiters, Bald Eagles, Ospreys, and falcons flew headlong into the Northeast winds. Whimbrels are still out and about in the salt-marsh behind Wildwood, and the Brant flock continues to increase.
