Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, October 5th, 2013

Birds overhead included numerous Blue Jays and Northern Flickers, as well as Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks, a couple of American Kestrels, a Broad-winged Hawk and a Northern Harrier. The Willow Pond area had two Black-crowned Night-Herons, many Yellow-rumped Warblers, as well as Prairie and Black-and-white Warblers, and a few Red-eyed Vireos. Woodpeckers included Red-bellied, Hairy, Downy, and three Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers. Other birds were Savannah, Swamp, and one White-crowned Sparrow, and three Indigo Bunting.
