Savannah and Swamp Sparrows were the most numerous birds of the day although there were many Palm and Yellow-rumped Warblers also seen. Overhead there always seemed to be one or two American Kestrels with a few Merlin, Peregrines, or accipiters in the mix. At the end of the walk we had as many as twenty-two Great Blue Herons in the sky at the same time. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, Catherine Busch, and Deb Payson.
