EZ Birding - Tuesday, October 8th, 2013

EZ Birding moved back to the state park today because of the federal government shutdown and caught a nice raptor movement during the first half of the walk. Highlights include: two adult Bald Eagles interacting overhead; Peregrine Falcon; Kestrel; Sharp-shinned and Cooper' Hawks; Osprey; many Yellow-rumped Warblers; Black-throated Blue Warbler; Black-and-white Warbler; American Redstarts; Golden-crowned Kinglet; several Wood Ducks; and the Eurasian Wigeon on Bunker Pond. Leaders: Chuck & Mary Jane Slugg, and Janet Crawford.
