Back Bay Birding by Boat on The Osprey - Monday, October 7th, 2013

Today's trip was very windy and had a high tide covering the marshes, but great birding was had none the less. A number of Peregrine Falcons were seen, including a hungry one that tried to swipe a Dunlin; both Yellow- and Black-crowned Night-Herons were seen in a tree island; Whimbrel and Willets are still hanging in there on the perimeter of Jarvis Sound; and a good number of Brant have moved into the sound.
