Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, October 28th, 2013

We had a nice array of ducks including at least 50 Northern Pintail, and one drake Eurasian Wigeon. On the beach we had a perched Peregrine Falcon, and one adult Lesser Black-backed Gull. Other birds of interest were a Virginia Rail, a brief look at a Common Gallinule, and fly-over American Pipit, and Cave Swallow. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Mike Hannisian, Janet Crawford, Catherine Busch, and Carrie Bell.
