Sunset Birding at the Meadows - Friday, August 16th, 2013

A nice evening and good birding. Lots of shorebirds to the east of the east path, where there were many Semipalmated and Least Sandpipers as well as Semipalmated Plover, and both Yellowlegs. In addition there were 2 Pectoral and 2 White-rumped Sandpipers in the mix. Lots of terns, gulls, and Black Skimmers on the beach and several Lesser Black-backed Gulls with the usual gulls.  Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Kathy & Roger Horn, and Jesse Amesbury.
