Photo Walks with Mike Hannisian - Saturday, August 3rd, 2013

Another Saturday Photo Walk with less than sunny skies; another really nice day for shooting. The soft light reduced the harsh shadows and severe contrasts and allowed pleasing portraits of Eastern Cottontail, Halloween Pennant, Rambur's Forktail, Variegated Fritillary, and Swamp Rose-Mallow. Also present in increasing numbers are waders on Bunker Pond, such as our Great Egret. All in all, it was another good day in the field, and the time of year suggests there will be many more to come.
