Another nice day to shoot greeted us this week at CMBO's Saturday Photo Walk. One of our first subjects was a first year Little Blue Heron feeding in the first Plover Pond. Between the first Plover Pond and Bunker Pond were a number of Orange Sulphur butterflies, including some very fresh ones. Also, given that it is now a week plus into August, the meadows at the State Park are alive with mallow flowers, including both Seashore Mallow and Swamp Rose-Mallow. By next weekend we will be in mid-August and the number of subjects to photograph will, in all likelihood, increase.
