A lot of birds were busy feeding during this morning's Cox Hall Creek WMA walk under overcast skies with occasional drizzle. In addition to the 'usual suspects' for this site - Chipping Sparrow, Indigo Bunting, Blue Grosbeak, Eastern Bluebird, Eastern Wood-Peewee, and Great Crested Flycatcher - there were small flocks of migrants moving through that included Blue-winged, Yellow-throated and Yellow Warblers, as well as American Redstart and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Cindy & Shaun Bamford, Janice Crawford, and Hugh Simmons.
