Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, August 14th, 2013

A cool morning with NW winds and some good birding. Lots of Terns to scan through, but mainly Common and Forster's in various plumages with some Least and Royal Terns. Odd Terns were 1 Gull-billed and one immature Black Tern. Numerous fly-over shorebirds mostly Least Sandpipers with a few Semipalmated Sandpipers and Plover. Also a few Yellow Warblers and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Warren Cairo, Meegan Crewe, Chris Marks, Shaun & Cindy Bamford, Tom Baxter, and Jesse Amesbury.
