Birding the Meadows with Pete Dunne - Monday, August 12th, 2013

The parking lot was good at the start and finish with singing Indigo Bunting and Blue Grosbeak, Eastern Kingbird, Purple Martins, Orchard Orioles, and a perched American Kestrel. The beach had the usual Gulls including Lesser Black-backed Gull, many Black Skimmers, a few American Oystercatchers, Sanderling, and 2 Ruddy Turnstones. Good shorebirds and waders east of the east path. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Steve Weis, Janet Crawford, Catherine Busch, Carrie Bell, and Shaun Bamford.
