Back Bay Birding by Boat on The Osprey - Monday, August 5th, 2013

Great trip aboard the Osprey for this Back Bay Birding by Boat tour for CMBO. Both scoters (Surf and Black) have returned, and our basic plumage Common Loon is still hanging in there. We watched a juvenile American Oystercatcher being fed by its parent near the Snow/Bumblebee plant, where a molting Red Knot was feeding with a Black-bellied Plover. Leaders: Bob Lubberman and Dave Lord.
