Birding Cape May Point - Saturday, August 3rd, 2013

A good birding morning with large numbers of terns and gulls in all plumages. About 20 Royal Terns adults and juveniles, were in the mix of Common, Forster's, and Least Terns. The highlight was a Roseate Tern, double banded, sitting on the pier railing on Bunker Pond. Other birds of interest were Orchard Orioles, Yellow, Pine, Yellow-throated, and early Yellow-rumped Warblers. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, and Catherine Busch.
