Spring Migrants at the Rea Farm - Saturday, April 14th, 2012

Slow starting but eventually found a small pocket of feeding birds, mostly Yellow-rump Warblers but also Palm Warbler, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Seven fly-over Common Loons, Double-crested Cormorants, both vultures and a Bald Eagle were also seen. Seven Black-crowned Night-Herons were roosting in the willows at the pond.
