Tonight's walk was breezy and a little chilly but we were able to take advantage of the lane closure on the free bridge which afforded nice looks of the birds on the sand bar in mid-channel on a falling tide. We finished the walk in Avalon where we had great looks at both Black-crowned & Yellow-crowned Night-Herons. Leaders: Patty Rourke, Chris Marks, Bill & Lee Smythe, and Warren Cairo.
