Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, April 25th, 2012

Good morning for seabirds and beach birds including several Piping Plover, 5 American Oystercatchers, numerous Northern Gannets and the usual terns and gulls. As for other shorebirds we had a few Least Sandpipers, both Yellowlegs (Lesser seen, Greater heard), and Killdeer. Also watched an Osprey dive and catch a rather large eel. House Wrens were very vocal and Yellow-rumped Warblers were in full breeding plumage and singing. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Warren Cairo, Patty Rourke, and Chris Marks.
