Woodpeckers stole the show on this morning's Cox Hall Creek WMA walk with Red-headed, Red-bellied, and Downy Woodpeckers plus Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and Northern Flickers. Bluebirds, Chipping and Field Sparrows were usually within sight or sound, and Pine Warblers and Golden-crowned Kinglets made fleeting appearances. A Belted Kingfisher worked one of the smaller ponds. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Janet Crawford, Mark & Lynn Breslow, Steve Weis, and Chris Marks.
