The biggest surprises of the day were a Sandhill Crane that flushed from the marsh and a Tricolored Heron. We had a nice selection of shorebirds, including Spotted Sandpiper. Black Skimmers finally put in an appearance. There are still Bonaparte's Gulls, Ruddy Ducks, Northern Shovelers and Red-breasted Mergansers around. Leaders: Pete Dunne, Janet Crawford, and Shaun Bamford.
