Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, May 28th, 2014

It was an interesting morning along the dunes/beach and ponds. There was still a pair of lingering Black Scoter off shore. We also had five flyover Black-crowned Night-Herons and a Glossy Ibis. The beach had an American Oystercatcher and a Piping Plover on nest. With the gulls, there was one young Lesser Black-backed Gull. The Bunker Pond railing had a Common Tern with the Forster's Terns for a nice side-by-side comparison. Warblers included Common Yellowthroat and Yellow. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Megan Crewe, Karl Lukens, and Chris Marks.
