Cox Hall Creek Bird Walk - Sunday, May 25th, 2014

The Great Crested Flycatcher is the only eastern flycatcher that nests in cavities and we spent some time this morning observing a pair in and around what may be their nest hole during the Cox Hall Creek (CHC) WMA walk. This was the last CMBO walk of the season at CHC but Indigo Buntings, Eastern Bluebirds, Eastern Wood-Pewees and Chipping Sparrows should continue to be good there throughout the season.  Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Cindy & Shaun Bamford, Deb Payson, and Hugh Simmons.
