Newly arrived warblers gave us a good start at the parking lot with good looks at Magnolia and Yellow Warblers, and Northern Parula. Other warblers seen or heard during the walk included American Redstart, Ovenbird, Black-and-white, Common Yellowthroat, Palm, and a Yellow-breasted Chat singing on his usual territory in the first field. Other highlights included a briefly perched Red-headed Woodpecker, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and two female Scarlet Tanager. Leaders: Bert Hixon, Chris Marks, Catherine Busch, and Steve Weis.
