EZ Birding at Cape May Point - Tuesday, May 6th, 2014

An enthusiastic group of new birders enjoyed today's walk through the state park. Highlights were a male Scarlet Tanager which perched obligingly for the group, a late Hermit Thrush in full view, and a lingering pair of Blue Teal. On the beach, a pair of American Oystercatcher appeared to be tending their nest. A large kettle of raptors also was of interest to all. Leaders:  Chris Marks, Catherine Busch, Chuck Slugg, Lynne Breslow, and Nancy Watson.
