Interesting birds this morning included 14 fly-over and 4 swimming Wood Ducks, 10 fly-over migrating Great Blue Heron, and 2 Wild Turkey with the male "gobbling" and displaying. Raptors included an adult perched Sharp-shinned Hawk, 2 Osprey, one with a fish, and an adult Bald Eagle. Downy was the most abundant woodpecker with several pairs displaying.
