Cox Hall Creek Bird Walk - Sunday, April 14th, 2013

It was a beautiful morning at Cox Hall Creek WMA with the bright morning light making the green of the Mallard head and the Eastern Bluebird blue look irridescent - especially when viewed through a scope. Eastern Towhees and Field and Chipping Sparrows created background music throughout and the Double-crested Cormorants perched on the large island elegantly displayed their crests. Brown Thrashers, Palm and Pine Warblers, and Savannah and Swamp Sparrow were seen as well. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Janet Crawford, Cindy and Shaun Bamford, Steve Weis, and Joe Demko.
