Birds of Belleplain - Thursday, April 25th, 2013

Cool and breezy and the birds were somewhat quiet. However we did hear and see several Yellow-throated Warblers, one we even looked down on as it foraged on the ground. Pine Warblers were also visible and vocal. A few did see a very quiet Louisiana Waterthrush. Nice looks at 3 Savannah Sparrows and 2 Brown Thrashers. Overhead we had 1 Red-tailed Hawk, both vultures, an Osprey and 2 adult Bald Eagles. Leaders: Shaun Bamford and Karl Lukens.
