Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, April 10th, 2013

Still a nice variety of ducks including both Teal, Northern Shovelers, Northern Pintail, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead and Ruddy. Off shore there was a huge movement of Northern Gannets, along with Surf, and Black Scoter, and a few Red-throated Loons. Some migration has been going on with the appearance of more Purple Martins, a few Chimney Swifts, Pine Warblers, Golden-crowned Kinglets, and 7 Willets flying over, The marshes contained numerous Wilson's Snipe and 1 Marsh Wren. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Chris Marks, and Lisa Ryan.
