Cox Hall Creek WMA was filled with birdsong this morning. Eastern Towhees seemed to be everywhere with at least 15 individuals seen or heard. Pine Warblers and small groups of Golden-crowned Kinglets are feeding in some of the tall pines. The blue of the Eastern Bluebirds was particularly stunning in the morning's bright sunlight. Ducks are mostly gone and were replaced this weekend with fisherpersons in the large stocked pond. Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Janet Crawford, and Shaun Bamford.
