Birding Cape May Point - Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013

A clear brisk morning, more like winter than spring, but there were some spring birds showing. We had 3 Osprey, 2 Purple Martin (FOY for all), several Tree Swallows, 1 singing Pine Warbler, and an Eastern Phoebe. Ducks were still interesting with a couple groups of Blue-winged Teal, Lesser Scaup, Ruddy, Bufflehead, Northern Shoveler, and Green-winged Teal with the Eurasian Teal in the mix. Leaders: Mike Crewe, Karl Lukens, Steve Weis, Chris Marks, and Lisa Ryan.
