The Bird Walk for All People enjoyed a variety of birds during our stroll through the State Park. Highlights from the dune include Northern Gannet, Red-throated Loons, a Piping Plover, and American Oystercatchers. On and over the ponds we watched both Great and Snowy Egrets, Forster's Terns, Tree, Barn, and Northern Rough-winged Swallows, Mallards, and Blue-winged Teal. Along the trails, Pine and Yellow-rumped Warblers, Eastern Bluebirds, Carolina Chickadees, and American Goldfinch were seen with many Ospreys and one Swallow-tailed Kite overhead. Leaders: Chuck & MJ Slugg, Cindy Bamford, and Lynne Breslow.
