Evening Birding at the Meadows - Friday, June 28th, 2013

Weather threatening for thunder storms but none appeared. Birds were the usual suspects, i.e., 1 Piping Plover (the last exclosure was removed), 9 American Oystercatchers with 1 chick, 20 Black Skimmers on the beach, and Killdeer on nest in the parking lot. Nice look a Black-crowned Night-Heron at dusk. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Chuck Slugg, Kathy & Roger Horn.
