Birding Cape May Point - Saturday, June 29th, 2013

Cloudy and warm with a few cooperative birds. Nice looks at 2 Black-crowned Night-Herons, several groups of fly-over Glossy Ibis, 1 Spotted Sandpiper probably a early fall migrant, a brief look at a Willow Flycatcher, and an Indigo Bunting in the scope. Several Yellow-breasted Chats were heard but we could not locate them. Most interesting was an Orchard Oriole nest with sitting female and we did see a 1st summer male bring food. Leaders: Karl Lukens, Kathy & Roger Horn, and Mike Hannisian.
